hi, i was wondering if anyone knows, if it is possible to use the hardware from a metal sunroof, on a glass sunroof? or is the hardware set up different,......? let me know, if u have any info. Thanx,

I think the hand crank part is the same, but the hinge areas are different.

 

I thought it swaps straight across?

 

does n e one have a pic of a glass sunroof, and or the hardware? just so i can compare it with my metal roofs harware, later

What about perspex? I was thinking of making one out of clear perspex, cos I've got shitloads of it around and thick stuff too.

 

that would work, you need to steal the hardware from a regular roof
