i Know jack sqaut about doing crap on engines i have a fear of breaking down my whole engine.

Damn that is a nice car . And the wing makes it look mean . As for the engine , may be just a header , high-flow cat , cat-back exhaust and carbs for now .... that is a good 3grand . You could get used header and cat-back exhaust and get it coated .. might be cheaper
