Magnaflow... Wheres The Sound?

i just stuck a magnaflow muffler+tip on my 85 gs and i was awating a better, fuller sound. what i got was shafted. the same exact sound is commin outta those asspipes. i blame it on the 2 cats (there are two cats on these models right?)

More than likely. I've got a Magnaflow on mine and believe me you can hear it. Granted I've got a complete 3" system. You might try changing the cats with some high flows, but being in CA, I know you've got to watch the emissions.

yeah... i hate it in cali. i mean sure, its the best state but i cant get racing beat headers, and i cant do a lot cuz the emissons

Unless you don't mind spending a little time under your car every other year



I've got mine hooked up on a straight pipe flanged at both ends so when smog time comes i'm just gonna have to spend a little time underneath the car to put the cats back in



High flow might work and at least it will still be legal as far as i know the state has no problems with highflow cats



Where is smog fighter when we need him?
