Recently I've noticed that I'm bogging under 3k rpm. At 3k, a little throttle will bog as though I'm getting a weak spark. Over 3k, no problem - I'm at a loss (of power) and it's really got me frustrated. BTW, the cars an SE (FI), plugs are new, cap, coils, wires are new this spring, running msd direct fire, no cats, tps is set correctly, idle is a little rough but not bad. It's interesting that it only boggs when you apply a little throttle (maybe a 1/4) - mash it and you get a slight bog but it drives through it. Can anyone help with this - very much appreciate any advice

Thanks

Sounds fuel related. FI takes alot of fuel pressure, Id check that. Maybe a filter is a little clogged? And then theres the dreaded "Trash in the Tank". or a cople of dirty injectors. But then it could be as simple as changing gas stations if it usually runs good otherwise.

Hope this helps, Im sure youve checked most of these.

ya that is happening to my friends fc but we are thinking its just clogged cats. A couple of ppl think it may be compression or a bad rotor but we don't really think so cuz it doesn't have all the symptoms
