Doesn't seem that there are many intake systems for the first generations out there.

Is there another alternative to simply clamping on a cone filter in place of the stock airbox?

If this is the only alternative readily available, what size filter are you all using? Any special recommendations or input?

IF you get the HKS adapter for the MAF u can bolt 2.5 pipe to it (a nice 90 degree transition works) and set it up to hook a cone in front of the radiator. I used a dremel on the radiator support to open it up enough for the hard pipe, and crawled under and got the cone on . U can also remove the header panel (between the radiator and the front valace) (under the hood) to get more room to work with. That MAF is a major restriction but at least with my setup I get cold air and (I think) more flow..
