i need a cai, i know the guys at rx7.com have one for a buck 40 but can anyone testify to it? right now im running custom exhaust and stock air box, not exactly the best for performance #s, so i just need to know if anyone has tried the cai from rx7.com, if not then ill probaly buy the kit anyways and mod it. so, can i get someone to testify?

Just get the drop-in K&N filter. I've popped one in my GSL-SE and noticed an increase in responsiveness. I won't claim horsepower gains, but the engine gets air as soon as it needs it, no lag.

I was also searching for a Filter upgrade for my 84 GSL-SE and I came across this site about a 2nd gen RX7 AFM (Air Flow Meter) into a GSL-SE They say it should give more air flow and some horsepower because of the intake path being much larger then the GSL-SE.

Also, using a K&N or a Racing Beat Foam filter will give you better air flow.
