I rang them up to get a new boot and roof, rather than trying to make/fix them myself. The boot is costing me about AUS$480 and the roof is now obsolete, which means I'm fucked if I know where I'm going to get a roof from. I might have to try and fix it myself like I originally planned, but its still a fucky job. No wreckers around here have any s3 rx7's either, so getting a replacement roof from them isn't viable. I don't even reckon they would cut the roof off to be honest. A new one (before they became obsolete) was ~$700.

haha your gonna laf when I tell you this shizza.

I ordered my rear panel and the rear skirt that goes underneath it, wsa about aus$540 all up. Anyway, I brought along the parts book to ask the guy about getting some prices (and availiability) of some other parts, eg, a-pillar trim, sunroof h/w, door seals, non a/c duct, upper firewall, . The only things availaible, were the rear panel that I wanted, doors and door weather seals. NOTHING ELSE I ASKED FOR!!

And...this is the funny part, the doors were AUS $1550 and AUS $1640 for left and right doors respectively. No wonder they still have them, who the **** is going to pay that much? I could buy a whole rx7 for one door!!

I'll just live with the little bits of rust I'm thinking. And I'll grab my VB catalogue for the rest of the stuff I want. Maybe I'll have to import from the USA.

Well, picked them up today with no problems.

Also had a bit of luck for a change, I gave him a list of stuff again, door seals and trim clips mostly, and for a change they had all of it! They'll be here Wednesday.

I'm surprised at how quick it gets here, across the country in 2 days. According to the packaging of my panels, it gets overnight flown, now thats cool. (I'll bet thats included in the price though)
