I was wondering & couldn't find on any post? Other than the K.&N. air cleaner, regular oil changes,& new plugs, nothing else has been done to the engine,I've just bought a Racing Beat header for my 12a & would like to know, how much more HP will I squeeze out of that little thing. It's an "83" with just 104,kms.I plan on doing a tonne more mods, but it's just the $$$ right now that keeps slowin' me down.THANKS ALL :sigh:

are u just installing the headers, or the whole RB exhaust?

If its a whole exhaust, youll definately see, hear and feel the difference. the less restrictive the exhaust, the more gains. Ive heard numbers of around 20 horses.

Get the exhaust opened up as much as you can afford. The rotary loves an open exhaust. You will be happy with the power gains.

I have a 84 GS now that my tranny went on my GXL. What do you all think about this set up 91 13B from my GXL :RB header back, electric fan, no a/p or a/c, and my Dellorto with RB upper manifold. that should be around 200Hp? what do you all think.

what year motor? If it is the lower compression one I'd say in the neighborhood of 200.

No. That was my idea. . Ill most likely bridge port a 13B with a dellorto set up.

I have an 84 GS..12a which 84/85 12 A's are the best compression..

Racing Beat Intake...

Holley 600 double pumper

Holley blue fuel pump/with regulator pushing 7lbs of fuel

Racing Beat road race headers...

Y of the header to 2 1/2 in pipes to a presilencer..then back to a Mozart DTM tip style muffler

2nd gen (I think trailing coils)which is better than stock..and if did the MSD conversion you need 2 MSD boxes(most racersjust use 2nd gen coils.)

ClutchMasters Clutch

Running NGK Plugs for Street ported engine...

I have alot of other little things....and dont know what Im pushing on this non ported engine...But I have beaten a good number of cars..Im thinking and hoping im up to or about 200 horses?

And I will go all out and bridge port it ..with 50-100 shot of Nitrous..
