I removed my oil filler cap and noticed theres a white foam around the top of it.I just checked my oil and the same white foam is around the top of it too.Does anyone know what it is and if there is anything wrong?My engine still runs awesome it just worries me. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif

not sure if the se has it, but on my gsl at the right of the rats nest (towards firewall) there is a round black plastic thing (about the size of mustard jar cap) the top of the unit was not snug to the bottom part, i had white stuff in my oil tube, now i dont since i tightned the loose top,,,dont know what is does/or what its for,,,,,,,also make sure the vacuum line that goes to the filler tube is clear and working ok..good luck...let us know......

I have seen it before. Actually had it happen to me. I don't know what caused it, but I drilled a small hole in the cap and didn't have the problem anymore.

I have the one on the center housing going to the charcoal canister, and a breather on the oil filler tube one. |
