You've maxxed out the GSL-SE's fuel system.

So here's a relevant question - under what circumstances does the GSL-SE run closed loop? I'm under the impression that it's always except when cold, or when idling (where it won't run stoic anyway). I could be wrong. Anyway, if this is the case, remember that anything you do to tweak the AFM signal will likely get undone by the ECU. (Actually I had another reason for wanting to know this but figured I'd try to stay on topic).

I don't follow you here about the 'programming on the fly' issue. The HC908GP32 controller has 32K of 'flash', which is just a name for a type of EEPROM that is written in blocks rather than a byte at a time.



The Megasquirt can be re-mapped while driving down the road (or dyno), in the same manner as other aftermarket EFI controllers. There are programming interfaces written for Windoze, Linux, and Palm devices.



I've run the MS in my S4 na for about 18 months, and just started running it in my '79 with S4 na. It is a capable system, with lots of wierd and wonderful variations available due to the open source concept. It is not a 'plug-n-play' setup, however, so don't expect to get a plug-in harness kit with your order.

i'm not sure, i havent checked it. i know it uses the o2 up to at least 4k rpms, if you take out the o2 sensor it runs a lot different under 4k. i'm not sure where it runs an actual closed loop though
