Got My Struts Today

i bought them on ebay. they are the tokico hz1069, the ones for gslse. should they have come with the ledge that the spring sits on?

i think i got my answer, i looked at rx7.com and the ones they show in their picture look just like mine.

once you get it apart you will figure it out. just do one side at a time so you dont get any of the strut top crap mixed up

oh im not doing them, i dont have a spring compressor. getting them installed for $100 though, which is pretty cheap

get a spring compressor at Advance/Pep Boys/Autozone for 15 bucks, plus the learning experience man what are you doing?! J/K suspension sucks, if I had the money I'd send mine off to have it done too.

well they got it done, said the bolts on the right one, the broken one, were on so tight that they broke coming off. he had to find other bolts to work in the spot, and ended up with thicker ones or something that he says will be stronger. total with alignment and install of the idler arm is like $178. not too bad.

ill take some pics if you want but its all stock stuff so itll just look stock. the guy that fixed it said it drives really well and is tight but i havent driven it yet. man its nice to have two cars, nice not to have to figure out getting a ride to where i need to go when one is in the shop.
