Gas
I'm considering buying a 1st gen and had a little question about gas...
Where I live there is ethanol blended fuel (I think its %10 ethanol, not sure though) that is 89 octane, and it is always ~$.04 cheaper than regular (87 octane). Is there any adverse effects of running that fuel in a rotary? Four cents doesn't seem like much, but every penny in my pocket is much better than one jingling in an oil producer's

Going contary to what everyone is saying, in my NA s4 13b I always found higher octane to be better, not only did the car run better, quicker and cleaner, but it also didn't seem to burn as fast. As I live in Australia, the highest octane pump fuel is 96octane, add to this a bottle of octane boost, available at most service stations and you have boosted the octane level to at least 99 to 100 points. I don't know about everyone else but this always provided the best results
for my car.
for my car.
