Fuel Pump Problem

I'm trying to figure out why my fuel pump will only work when i put a jumper wire in the connector to the fuel pump relay.



I have a new FP relay but when I plug it up the FP won't work.



Any suggestions?

my distributor was unplugged along with the vacumn signal(the bullet connector).

didnt fix mine, sadly, mine was running for about 150 miles then gave out one night on the freeway, now i cant figure out what's up, i replaced the pump, filter, my relay's are good, so im stumped
