????I tired but it gets hung up on the holes.Is there any special trick to it?I really want to have wipers again?What type of grease should I use on the assembly???

Sorry, I was gonna do it for the rebuild but decided against. Too hard. Maybe theres something in the old workshop manual?

I tried tilting it every which way the other day and still nothing.Mike said he has done it before.I hope he sees this thread.

i did it once, from a 79 to a 80. i don't remember much, was 2 years ago. don't remember it being too hard, i did have to dismantle each arm, and the motor. i don't know if your trying to take it out in one peice or not. wasn't nearly as hard as the damn heater core was. well good luck.

to get it out you have to just wiggle it, its really tight. sorry i'm playing with the tr3

TR3 ehh? Have fun! I remember changing the waterpump on my dads TR8. BOY was that fun. I'm almost kinda glad he is going to sell it but sad at the same time. Fun car but working on it isn't the greatest. Know anyone who wants a mint TR8 Mike?

yah the triumph is not easy to work on
