Since he is going with a Dellorto and the carb has no provisions for the OMP lines, I'd stick with the 4-port OMP. You should already have the injectors in your rotor housings and lower intake manafold anyway.

ok im lost sorry, I need a GSLSE front cover and a 4 port OMP if this helps any I am using a complete RB set up lower and upper intake manifolds and the dellorto https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683894.gif

You need:

1 - GSL-SE front cover

1 - GSL-SE oil pan

1 - GSL-SE oil pump pick-up with screen

1 - '84-'88 13B Non-turbo 4 port Mechanical OMP

Before you do the swap, check out Mazdatrix "How to" or FAQ section about the front cover and the torrington bearing. You don't want to screw this up. http://www.mazdatrix.com/faq/pulley.htm

Also the one about the front cover o-ring

All you have to do is tilt the engine up on the flywheel when you change the cover. The bearing won't slide down.

Does the RB intake have provisions for the stock metering pump?

You can hook up the OMP connecting rod directly to the carb if you bend and cut it right.Mine is hooked up with the OMP and works great.I think I might get a 4 barrel next year tho.I'm bored of the Dellorto already.

why not just run premix and block off the OMP? wouldnt it simplify things a bit? afaik premix works better anyways.
