Go for it!! Listen for a sucking or honking noise when you rev it up, it could just be a disconnected vac line or a bad vac plate underneath the carb. I had one split from somone overtightening the carb and it high idled. Anyway ya look at it its a good deal for 500. We can help ya the rest of the way once ya get it. Good luck!

well i went for a drive in it today it has no cat so the exa\haust is strait through so poped 2 flames when i took it for a spin it needs a new gasket on the carb for shur possible a new carb altogather it idels steady at 2 thousand was a littel tuff getting her started but once she was all warmed up she ran fine brakes are very mushy and i stalled her once but she started right back up no prob all the electronics work seats have no where and tear but the drivers door panel is all metal as some small rust spots here and there its to tone gray and black the head lamps work fine signals and everything work good so its electronicaly sound the leather roof lining is perfect. i fell in love with the littel thing as soon as i took it out it suprising ly has the same feel as my old b2000 carb pick up so if all prevales i should be able to pick her up for posibly less than 500 and how much would it be for a new carb and to get all the emisions taken off or for a 13b swap also where the hell can a guy get a vented 1st gen hood?

Hahahah that truck feeling is due to the steering assembly in it, its basically the same setup they used in Mazda B series/ Ford Courier p/ups around the same time

Dude, punctuation, it is your friend!! USE IT!

Just joking, seems you have a great find going on there. Go to racingbeat.com for the carb stuff. It is honestly cheaper to go aftermarket with a carb then to buy a new one. Plus get some fancy shmancy intake manifold, a 12a Racing Beat header, racing beat streetport cat back. Upgrade brakes and rotors, stainless steel lines. And she should be fun as hell.
