The problem with spray can flat paint is that its porous and sooner or later, you're gonna have a rusted hulk. (seen a few primered hondas look like that)

The trick is to wet sand the paint of the car so that it keeps the protection of the stock paint, rather than taking it right down. And if you do take it down by accident, always hit it with some primer right away.
A dull coat over the flat black will take care of any moisture that the flat black paint will absorb. |
