like the short block alone, no accessories?

and run a carb again?

im not sure i get what you are saying, is the full s5 13b a direct drop on over the se's 13b? no need for mounts, transmission, engine or otherwise to be fabricated?

im looking for a nicer efi setup then i had on the old se before i went carb.

just a nice street port, bigger injectors and some sort of fuel management to make the most of the port. and have it REALLY clean in the bay would be the goal

If you buy another gslse than yes its a direct bolt in procedure. just swap front covers and oil pans. If the shell you purchase has a 12A in it than use the 12A front cover put it on your s5 and then you need to find a gslse oil pan and its a done deal. You can use what ever tranny you want be it 13B or 12A ti all fits.

You will also need to either swap in a 13B crossmember from an SE or elongate the slots on the mounting plate on the front cover. The SE crossmember pushes the motor mounts forward 10mm to account for the 13B's extra length.
