How does one tune/adjust the stock carb?

 

OK so the car apparently is not getting spark. It looks like someone butchered up the wiring on the ignition system. Anyone have any idea how the wiring runs? Specifically, I mean between the coils and distributor. The motor turns over but will not start, even with gas in the carb. We are pretty sure it's down to this being the problem, as everything else seems to be in place. Also, if anyone has a full spare '85 wiring harness they can part with, I'd be much appreciated!
