I cracked the water pump housing on my T2 pump.I bought a new pump but its just the front section.Will my old SE rear section bolt to the T2 block?I can tee off a coolant line to make the line to the turbo

Yes, you can use the -SE housing! You can also use the pump if you have to.

I had to use the whole thing.The one hole is way off on the SE housing.So I get to use the SE pump for now. At least the motor goes in tommorow. Just need to find some way of getting a tranny mount made.Knowone here carries thick enough aluminum to make one.

Aluminum is a softer metal give some comfort during shifting.If I used steel to make the mount I would feel the car shake at idle then really shake during shifts.
