This place sells a video telling you step by step what to do, if you want to rebuild it yourself.
http://www.atkinsrotary.com/  Or find a local shop that knows their **** when it comes to rotary engines, and have them do a compression test. |
it all depends where you are located. there are many rotary shops around

Rebuilding rotaries is not hard for the home mechanic. My first engine was not hard, not the fastest, also used parts that were out of spec. I had never rebuilt anything before that. 12a's are pretty easy since you don't have as complicated stuff. If you have over 100,000miles, I'd say its getting ready for a overhaul. But some expensive parts may need replacing. Rotor housings, etc. Look at Mazdatrix.
