should i just put in a bigger fuse?? it blows the fuse weather the radio is on or not what kind of tires should i put on this car

You need to check all your wiring in behind. It its blowing fuses with the radio off, its means its shorting somewhere. 99% of car installation problems is with grounding. You only need three wires to get your radio working. Constant power, accessories and ground. Get a test light, take your keys out of the ignition and check for a wire that has power going to it without the car being on. This is your constant power, it usually connects to the yellow wire on your stereo, with an inline fuse. Next, put your keys in and turn the ignition to accessories and test light again for another wire that now has power. This connects to the red wire from your stereo and may or may not have an inline fuse, because the accessories is already fused in your standard factory fuse box. Finally connect the black wire (ground) to a secure metal part of the dash. It has to be very secure.

just out of curiosity... isnt the stock antenna a positive ground. maybe the antenna is messing your connections all up.
