I'm thinking of my next project. This 48 does good. But I'm thinking of a series 4 EFI conversion(They still have a manual OMP system and less wiring). Is the series 4 EFI better than a Carb setup for power?

i think a 48ida would make more peak power, but the s4 efi will be better on the low end

I would assume that ultimatly The EFI will make more power, but requires alot of computer tunning. With the Weber its straight forward and you dont need a bunch of computer equipment.

I will choose carby over EFI....

Thanks mike.I remember that page now.He says if the carb was setup right the power would be about the same.I think I might buid my next car with another carbed 13b 6-port but with series 5 rotors and housings.I already have a good SE eccentric shaft and all the swap parts from my old engine. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

I would choose carby cause it looks cool and cause it is way simpler than EFI to setup...
