Will the drive shaft from a 1984 GSL 12B 5 spd fit

a 1995 gsl 12a automatic. Don't want to eat a lot of tranny fluid only to find the splines don't match.

Making sure you meant a 1985 not 1995?

Yes it is a 1985 12a auto. They didn't make a '95 with a

good looking type 1 body.

No answers yet...hmmmmm...why not call Mazdatrix and ask them. They are pretty helpful.

Sorry took me so long to get to helping you guys, I haven't been free lately. Now, I'm not a big 1st gen guy, but common knowledge on the seven would say...NO, it won't fit. Typically the automatic driveshafts are shorter then the 5spd ones. I know this is true on 2nd gens, but not POSITIVE on the 1st gens. I may have that backwards too, lol....ones longer then the other, I know that much... :)
