hey Kurt, All my 7's have limited slip's and they are a fairly important component to have when trying to drift. that said, the best way to have honda drifters laughing at you is to show up at a drift track with a one-legger

1) buy an LSD pumpkin (must be from same series, no S3 into S2)

2) jack up rear of car

3) drain gear oil

4) remove rear wheels, calipers/perch's/rotors

5) remove axles (remove 4 nuts/bolts on a drum car, may need slide hammer if bearings are stubborn

6) remove driveshaft

7) remove suspension linkage

8) remove all the bolts and ppull out the one legger

9) install LSD and reverse process

10)be sure to use a Limited Slip additive with your new LSD to prevent chatterng and premature wear.

11) find an empty parking lot and make an *** of yourself!

please feel free to add anything i missed.....

other than that, is that it is possible to drift with an open diff. just like its possible to drift FF cars.

ill need to remember that write up when i decide to rebuild my diff. its not really LSDing any more...

Lecan91, sounds good I think they do some drifting events in Richmond and a summit point WVA. I should be done with my car by spring I hope. still have more parts to buy. We should get a whole bunch of RXs up to a event and show those Nissans whats up
