I have a 1983 gsl with almost every option ....but the dome light doesn't work every time that i tryed to put a 15 amp fuse in it just burns out ....i replace the bulb cleaned the contacs i don't have a clue where to start i must have a short somewhere.....but my glove box light works....help!!!!

 

the dome light, clock, cigarette lighter, rear hatch release motor,map

light, and seat belt buzzer are on that fuse. I would start looking at

those other components for shorts.

PS. the glove box light is on a different circuit.
