Did I tie open the Shutter Valve Correctly?
#1
84 GS Cali stock.
I don't want to take off the carb to get to this so I read up and was told to "tie it open".
So I pushed the rod in all the way and used some coat hanger wire and a zip tie.
Did I do it wrong? Input requested.

1. with a flashlight you might be able to open the carb, and see it down there
2. i'm pretty sure its open, and the vacuum pulls it closed, so you shouldn't have had to move it to tie it.
either way you'll know i you start it up and it runs on 1 rotor

Thanks. Yea but doing some more research etc. I did tie it wrong. Needs to be locked the other way as you say.
It defaults to open without the vac.
