Im right there with you, but mine creeps up after 3500 rpms and temp goes down if I keep it below that, my last resort is swapping radiators, so Im waiting on the 79-80 3row to arrive......here is a few things I did that helped but with the rotted radiator it just wasnt enough. (I took a saw-saw to it and that definetly was the culprit.)

Redline water wetter with distilled water

DEI header wrap

Racing Beat Holley heat shield

Buy a lower radiatior hose that has a coil in it or a very stiff type, mine liked to collapse at higher rpms.

If you dont have a fan shroud-get one they help alot also the lower tray below the crossmember that everyone takes off for weight savings....they help cool also.

I installed an electric fan along with a new stock clutch fan.

I even tried the thermostat bypass trick stated in the Racing Beat catalog and that really helped, but not in daily traffic.

Hope these ideas help out some. Ill let you know what happens on mine after I install the new radiator.

I dont think you want it much cooler than this do you? I mean right around 180 degrees Farenheit is perfect operating temps.

well if i push the car really hard it hits 100c like right now i dont mind the fact that it runs at 80-88c unless i start to boost it alot or pull a good grade hill which equals boost too then the temps climb up to atleast a 100c and hotter

You think the 79-80 3 row would cool better than the stocker in my 85 GS?
