Coolant Circuit Question?

i am transfering a weber intake comming from a 79-80 engine to a 81-+ engine and the 81 engine have a coolant circuit from the rear rotor housing to stock intage and back to the front rotor housing ( the 79-80 engine do not have this hole in the 2 rotor housing... can i cap this? or do i need to bypass this??

you can cap it in the rotor housing, either silicon in a freeze plug, or i guess quarters work too
