I think they look the best in Black. I havnt seen one but I think that sliver color for the jspec 99 would look good on a 1st gen as well . mine is going to be repainted white with some red rotor graphics on it

I don't know what color mine is officially, the VIN decodes it as blue, but wtf??? here's a pic, try the colorlab at http://www.visibone.com/colorlab/

well all the things youve all mentioned have made my mind up, danke.

think i'll do it like that red/siver one up ^ there but ill have black/mx-5 classic red

sept i gotta change the big dove wing ive got to black but

danke again

athough what can you say is a good colour for the front mazda badge on a black nose?

that red and silver is nice. its supposedly a factory paint from a 83 limited.

hell yeah, that silverstone metallic would look hot in a 1st gen. ill prob got with that if paint it before i get rid of it.

looks silverish in the pic. if u give us the color code we could help u find out exactly what color it is. you migh also be able to find out on rx7registry.com, and u can register your car if u havent already done so.
