Good Morning Luis;

This has to be PISSING you off by now.

I'm sorry to hear that you have not resolved this ongoing problem by now!!!

I with you man! (Those Fu-Kin Gremlins).

I seem to have 1 or 2 of them myself right now and maybe you or Mike or Smogfighter

can help me with this one.

Whats the best way to check for a vacuum leak around my RB Holley and Intake setup.

I have this constent stumble and lack of power that I can't track down!!!!

As youins knows everthing is brand new and built from the ground up. Literly.

Everything is setup right i.e. Coils-OK, Timing-OK, Float Levels-OK, Idle Mixture-OK,

New Plugs and Wires, NGK of course, Compresion-Right On.

I called RB yesterday and got a runaround as usual. So now I need your expertise.

The only Vacuum used is the Trailing from the Carb and the Brake Assist from the Intake Manifold.

Just a Cean and Mean setup.

Any Adeas???

Thanks

Steve

I know if your trying to find a leak try spraying some WD40 around the hose ends and see if it dies down if it does then your problem is at that hose.I have all the vaccums on mine setup.Both from the dizzy and the one to the brake booster.I'll be rebleeding it tonight.I finally got that hose on.What a pain for just a stupid clutch swap. :rant:

nope.All this from a stupid clutch.I can't wait till I start my turbo project. :rant: Went to bleed the clutch and started to work then nothing out of it.Went and dissconnected the hard line to the master asit is the only thing not new in the system and I see it has finally went on me too now. :rant: I get to order a new one tommorow. :rant: Damn Rx I love and hate it so much at times. :rant: :rant: :rant: :rant:

Luis;

I have not had a chance to remove it yet. Gonna do it today and send it off. Just hope like hell it does'nt take a month to get it back. Thats how long it took RB to send this one to me!!!

One thing I noticed after playing with the timming issue the other day was that it sure blew a hell of alot of Blue-White smoke when shifting gears. This has got me a little actually ALOT

concerned.

Engine has about 750 miles on it now and it did not smoke at all until I Fucked with the Timming.

Maybe some one gots the answer for this ?

When looking at the Disti Rotor it has an arrow on it. Is it supposed to pointing to the Leading Pickup with the the Pulley lined up with the Leading Notch. For some weird reason when I put the Disti in the first time I had lined up the notch with line on the gear. When I pulled it out the other day the Rotor on the Disti i.e. arrow was pointing on the trail pickup. What gives.

Lost in Eugene

Thats a wierd problem with the dizzy you have.As far as your smoke issuses are concerned tho how long was that engine sitting not used for?Sounds like a bad seal.Not saying that it is tho.Are you running the OMP?Or just premix?
