I have decided to bridge port my s4 13b and considering my lack of knowledge I have found someone that will do it for me, they are asking AU$1500, which is about US$800, it covers labour and replacement parts and the porting/pulling apart. Is this a decent deal or am i getting totally ripped? Also, this engine, in the future will hopefully be getting put into a 84/85 rx7, rather than my s1 ('79) is this a wise decision? Sounds too cheap to me, but then again what do I know. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...closedeyes.gif

It isn't an actuall store that is doing it, it is just someone I know, who happens to be a rotor guru. He owns two 1st gens, and an 13b turbo rx4 that does 10.4sec quarters.

6 port or 4 port?

thats cheap, $800 us barely buys the rebuild parts

Wouldn't have a clue.

sounds good go for it.

Yeah, he said "cheap". I might ring Rotormotion, which is our rotary specialists here in Perth, find out how much they charge for the same job.

yea a good bridge port engine can produce about 320 hp with a 4" exhaust set up and cost about $5000-7000 a pop and last about 10,000 miles. The S4 don't take to porting that well and your going to have a hell of a time starting and idealing blow 2000 rpms. I hope you know what you are getting in to. If you have the money go for it.

Extend port maybe?
