Herro Raul;

Not sure if it overheated. Guages where in the process of being converted to manaul ones.

When it went Bye Bye I had coolant all over the Bay.

I replaced the Water Pump and Housing (Brand New) and now the Baby runs like **** and Blue Smoke.

She ran soooo sweet till I changed over the Pulley to the Racing Beat one.

I should have changed out the Water Pump at that time knowing that it would be Cavitating to much for a stock one.

**** this is a $4000 project gone to *****!!!!

Dumm Dumm & Dummer.

Normally a pulley kit slows down the speed of the accessories (w/p,a/c,alt)

thereby reducing the amount of torque required to turn them.

The typical problems, when using "power pulleys", is those accessories turn

too slow at idle, causing charging and overheating issues in heavy traffic and

during extended idle times.

Do a compression check in each of the lower (leading) sparkplug holes.

Leave the upper plugs in.

Remove the schrader valve in the compression tester so it doesn't hold pressure.

Have someone crank the engine, while you watch the gauge.

You are looking for strong even bounces of the needle.

If you see BOUNCE bounce bounce, you have a bad apex seal on that rotor.

Time for a rebuild.

if it's bounce bounce bounce on one and BOUNCE BOUNCE BOUNCE on the

other, it's time for a rebuild.

if it's BOUNCE BOUNCE BOUNCE on one and BOUNCE BOUNCE BOUNCE on the

other, look for fuel or ignition problems.

let us know how it goes.
