i just recently replaced my thermostat because it was spiking past what the normal operating temp was at the time. now that ive put a new one in, the operating temp has dropped greatly. the needle will go up to the point where the choke will pull itself in and then will fall back down to settle maybe 2 needle widths to the right of the second hash mark under the "c". did i get a bad thermostat or is this normal? the way i replaced it was spot on with the haynes manual. putting the jiggle pin facing upwards and all. it was a slightly different thermostat so maybe that could be it or could it be that there is an actual sensor that i need to replace as well. any help would be appreciated, thank you.
