My instrument cluster lights do not come on (The warning lights work). I've been trying to trace down the problem. I did go through and check all the fuses.



I think the problem may be in the dimmer switch, but not sure how to check it.



Basically the layout is like this



[:] black

red/blue(1) [:][:] red /blue

 

this fixed my cluster lights, pry out the dimmer switch, splice the two colored wires together, you wont be able to adj the dimmer but at least youll have lights,,,i did try applying 12 volts to the bulbs directly and fried some of the circuitry,,,but jumpered them, seems like the correct volts was like 9.5,,anyways good luck,,,,,,
