I just picked up a FD last week and I am abanding the FC project for it. Are their any parts that might be cool to swap over to the FB? I have already stolen the FC steering wheel for my 85 S.





What about the seats do they "bolt" right in.

 

An ignition improvement comes from installing an FC leading coil into an FB. Ask 83turbo for wiring info.

 

The FC has a better alternator, it's a direct swap.

 

seats go in. shifter/e brake handles work.

 

you wouldnt happen to know the specific differences between the 2 generations alternators?

 

I'd assume the FD Alternator would pull more amps becasue the FD is more electronic. I think that would be the only real difference.
