thanks for the help ken |
Why would you want to go from a 13b to a 12a? The 12a has only around 100hp. As apposed to around 135 on a 13b. I'm in Concord, NC. I' just getting into the rotary engines myself.

It'd probably be cheaper/better to just find a non GSL-SE and swap in the GSL-SE suspension and stuff...
|
you need the either the rb 12a->13b engine mount, or the gsl-se subframe, or a file and a welder. bacially the 13b is 20mm longer. you will also need the gsl-se oil pan and 13b intake and exhaust

j9fd3s I think you got what he wants to to backwards. He wants to put the 12a in the GSL-SE not the 13b into a 12a car.

well i know a guy with 2 85 GSL-SEs that he wills ell me for $600 but they both have blown motors, one is in perty good shape, the other is only a parts car, but i want a carbarated turbo rotary...i guess i could do a 13B cabarated...how much touble is it to set up one of those with a turbo
thanks Ken |
the car I'm buying this week is setup w/ a carb'd 13b.
Add a turboII manifold and turbo, piping/intercooler and you could have a turbo carb'd rotary. However, it's gonna take more than that to not blow it up i'm sure... |

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif Dude are you nuts?
Have one of the 13b's rebuilt, or go with a factory TurboII if you want to go turbo, but putting a 12a in one of your Gsl-Se is like loading your 9mm Beretta with blanks. Sorry 12a fans, but you know what I mean. PK797 NYC |
