:eh: Ok I have an 83 GSL an the A/C works sometimes an not other times it works if the RPM's are over 3000 but not under sometimes it will kick on if the rpm's are low but it kicks right back off it doesn't run for more than a few seconds under 3000 if it comes on. Any ideas any help is aprreciated as always.

 

Your magnetic clutch may be toast

 

Didn't know there was a clutc on the AC is it on the comprsor or where I know my fan clutch is fine how do i test this an can it be replace or should I just scrap the compressor.

 

you can replace the clutch only if the compressor is fine. Most parts stores will have a reman unit for like 100-120.
