I just bought a 1984 mazda rx-7 and really love it.

But, my driver seat is rusted off from the floor.



What should i do and where can i find another seat for a good price?

 

ouch! is the floorpan rusted out or is it the bolts that hold the brackets to the floorpan?

 

I just found out it's the floor pan, i took the seat out a few mins ago.

Do you know how i can repair that?

 

depends on how bad the rust is. if it's only rusted from the cabin out then you can cut out the bad portion and weld in new sheet metal. if it's rusted through from under your car that'll be a lot more complicated and a little less safe......

 

ill just fix that part and buy some racing sets

 

What color? i have a couple spare seats. Brown interior. Not sure how much to charge. Willing to trade. What part of the country are you from? I'm central U.S.
