i have the respeed axles, front brake kit, and rear brake kit. i also have other little tid bits from billy. after doing business with billy and getting to know him. i have decided to deal with him with anything i need even if it does cost more. his workmanship is amazing, his customer service is amazing, hes been on the phone helping me when i had problems numerous time, and hes blunt and dont BS.
i also have the moser axles. im going for a 300hp-350hp set up. i probably wont run drag slicks unless someone offers to let me and im bored and just want to see what itll do. im certain with the right set up that the 7" rearend can withstand a lot more than people credit it for. ill put it to that test.
billy--- quit posting and start working on that R&P kit and the WB.

I plan to do this also. I will be making around 400whp but won't be launching it hard with big rubber.
On the steering, I beleive the entire FB comunity is waiting for the R&P from RESpeed. They will sell like hotcakes and for good reason.
I'm also excited about their TII brake kit for the 4x110 lug.....Woot

Well it has been a long road. We went through so many versions and designs its not even funny. The final design has been released.
We ended up with a rack that is sure to make everyone happy. This system is front steer with a Ford "Fox" chassis steering rack. 20:1 stock and 15:1 quick ratios. Power racks are available. There is not allot of clearance around the engine and rack. So power rack guys will be responsible for mounting power steering pumps and such.
You can start with the crossmember and upgrade to the rack kit at a later date as well.
Crossmember Highlights:
* Adjustable lower control arm pivot points
* Urethane lower "A" arm bushings
* Urethane engine mounting. (Aluminum engine mounting option)
* 99% bolt in. Mounts without modification to the chassis.
* Designed to fit both 12A and 13B engines.
* Lighter than the stock
Full Kit Highlights:
* Convert suspension to a lower "A" arm setup
* Over 36 forms of suspension adjustment
* Flaming River brand steering u joints
* Does not hinder the operation of the collapsibility of the stock steering shaft
* Added angle designed into the lower steering linkage for 2 more points of collapsibility.
* Available quick ratio rack that will transform the vehicle into a pleasure to drive.
* Uses stock outer tie rods (Rod End Tie Rod Kit Option).

Brilliant!! I stopped by and toke a look at the kit and I have one question.... Do you use any form of engine mounts, I mean like rubber vulcanized to steel or rubber bushing of any sort? I ask because I personally have no idea how much abuse the first gen front cover can withstand. I have never broken one before, just the ocassional re-tightening of the 4 front bolts.... I have however ripped the driver side mount before so now I just run one engine mount......(no engine torque brace)
If there is no engine "rubber" mounting whatsoever is it safe to assume that high output engines would be recommended to use a torque brace with the kit?
