Okay, time for a Spring of '09 update.

Best sites that I have found:

For stock replacement parts; www.rockauto.com

A good place to go for stock parts. Just be carefull, because if you order several different parts at once, they may ship from several different warehouses around the country. This leads to a bleeding butt when you get the shipping charges.

For performance parts (especially race suspension parts); www.re-speed.com

Billy at Respeed is a hell of a good guy. He'll answer all your questions, and advise you in your setup. He held my hand through my entire build (after discovering that Racing Beat suspension parts really aren't all that great for high performance applications), and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. The type of customer service and support you get here should be the goal of every company around the world.

For carb troubleshooting, reference material, and kick *** race carbs; www.sterlingmetalworks.com

A great website with a veritable library of information relating to stock (Nikki) carbs. Also the builder/seller of Sterling carbs, which are Nikki carbs custom modified for race applications. I've been running a Sterling carb for a few years now, and my little 12a is the fastest rotary out there every single time (as long as Finky doesn't show up in his FD), always beating out TIIs and Miatas. Excellent product, and a hell of a lot cheaper than the other options out there.

Here's a site that has most, if not all RX-7's manuals in a downloadable .pdf format. I know for a fact that they have service, wiring, parts and carburetor manuals (that's where I downloaded mine from.)

There is an "h" in the last link above, it should read www.mariahmotorsports.com, otherwise you get a 404 error. And beware of the cpracing site, I have seen a large number of entries in various forums about people ordering parts and never getting them and having a very hard time getting their money back. Buyer beware.
