I have an 84/85 13B RE EGI motor but not much else. And I can't find a donor GSL SE for less that $3k for ignition intake etc. For Coils/Distributor/Oilmeter and many other things do I need these things specific to car or can I buy a cheap GS or basic RX7 for a donor? I've seen a bunch for just a few hundred dollars and I want to use all the accessories from it. If I can't use computer and sensors/ electrical etc from a cheap non GSL SE car I will go Carb, but I would love to go Fuel Injected. Will my Complete block use other motors stuff?

What stuff can I use from different year cars and even different Gen cars to complete my motor?



PS. If this has been asked a ton of times I'm sorry. Just point me to the right posts. I have searched and haven't had any luck.

If anyone has swapped gear from motors around I would really appreciate your knowledge and stories to help me get an idea of what accessories I can use from different motors rather than buy all new coils wires injectors pumps oil coolers etc.
