13b and 12a tranny

basically as stated, will a 12a tranny bolt up if u put a 13b into your car? might sound stupid but i thought i heard that b4

the stater migth be an issue,

make sure the flywheel is the same diameter

The starter is not an issue, but the earlier RX-7s ('79-82?) use a smaller diameter clutch and flywheel.

yes, but the tranny is the same. you can use the 13b clutch and flywheel with a 12a tranny.
