is there a step by step for putting a header on an 85gsl, or is it pretty much cut and dry,, need helpful hints, shortcuts, what i can expect to find,etc....and which brand is better and where to buy from,,, and is it worth the time and money once it's done,..

 

Well pending on what your going to do with the rest of the exhast...



I cut all my **** off and revoed the thermal reactor..

Put a new exhast manifold gasket..and put the header on ..

Drove it about 5 miles to a friends shop open header..then got all my exhast pipes ran..



I belive in RacingBeat and only RB for headers...any other are just about garbage..

You can get a RB header to bolt up to the stock exhast also..BUT theres so much restriction in the stock exhast..

 

no emmisions here, cat is off with test pipe already, so u can bolt up to the thermal? or is it an option ..
