maybe a harmonic balancer puller. Some type of puller made for some other application has to work. I would say heat it carefully with a torch but u could trash that big rubber seal thats on the back plate. Or my favorite hit the bastard with a BIG hammer

sorry i've been busy getting her back together... my buddy is a machinist and made a puller for me. that got it somewhat loose... then i hit it with a BIG hammer. sucker came right off. And I'm pleased to say that my car is no longer in the air and no longer automatic. it's a high revving five speed with a hell of a lot of kick! its so much more quick than that piece of work A/T. Thanks!
