A JC 13B-REW engine.

Plenty of them around here in Oz.

Many prefer them to the FD 13B-REW engine as the posrt are larger & the manifolds are better for mid-range, hence street use.

What a ***** of a TB!

Can anyone explain the second set of butterfly valves on the top two runners? I can't figure out what the purpose would be because the throttle linkage isn't connected to it.

I'm confused.
that second set of of plates is hooked up to a soleniod and then vacuum. the ecu closes them when the engine is cold, so you cant beat on it.

either remove it or, put the vaccum line to boost, if you just leave it alone it will blow shut

I think a removal would be best, do you agree?
