i have a 89 gtu engine sitting in my green house that cracked an apex seal i was wondering if i could put the ignition from it on my 85 12a is this possible and if so would it add power or take it?

Any ignition upgrades add power.But the FC ignition swap is not worth the time unless you swap in a EFI setup.Your better off with a DLIDFIS setup.

is that everything or just swaping to 2nd gen coil packs, because I was looking at my 2nd gen parts car and thinking about swaping the coil packs
