Hey Guys,

I am a new member. I am a kiwi living in Salt Lake City Utah. I am looking at building a RX2 or RX3, i would rather do a 3 because i like the body shape a bit better. However i have found two RX2's for $250, one has a little rust above the front right wheel well and the other has a trashed interior. Other than that they are perfect and the rotarys and gearboxes etc are all in great condition (not sure if they are running). So i am totally new to the rotary game and the main reason i want to get into rotarys is you never see a good looking ro-tang up here. Anyhoos my question for everyone here is....

What would you do with a car like this?

Lets assume that the 12A in it is running, it is driveable and the rust is taken care of.

My goal for the car is to have a nice sounding loudish puring tang thats quick.

Feel free to post ANY opinions.

Cheers

Damian.

Welcome to nopistons! I would make it nice, and drive it. That's about it.

I'm moving this to the vintage rotary section. Good luck with your purchase!

hi welcome to the forum and darkside

i would jump on the rx2"s since thats a wicked deal. iv seen 2grand just for a shell in oregon.

if you want to keep the 12a a free flow exhaust with header and a ida or dellerto will net small gain in hp but it will sound great and defintly be fun.

or if you want to be quick and belive you can do it swap a later turbo 13b motor in there is a few different options.cosmo13bt,fd,fc,20btwin the 2nd gen turbo 2 is the most common.

where did you move from ? i moved to oregon 5years ago from the far north in nz.

cheers

chris
