Hi,

Just finished my repu project and thought I'd post it here.Bought it around 1 month ago with a blown head gasket from some farmer(never told me the rad has leaks https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR )for $400 and swapped the 84 SE 6-port motor from my 83 that has frame rust into this regular cab short box. After countless holdups with stuck on bolts and other things in my way from finishing this swap I fired it up for the first time today. Now I can put it back into action as a daily driver to get me back and forth to work..... after I find a way to tone the exhaust down. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif Pics are located in my garage.Link is in my sig.I will post up to date pics after the thunderstorm outside stops. Thanks to those who helped out with info(you guys know who you are) and tips.

Later,

Luis

i likey! it needs a good cleaning, scratch that, it looks slow enough to have a lot of fun.

the funniest thing about my friends 20b2600, was that everyone though it was slow, so when it wasnt, they got this look of suprise, he he

Racer X 04-15-2006 01:40 PM

Around here it's the "whats wrong with your truck?" then I tell some of them its a 13b rotary under the hood and they laugh. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

Probably tonight. These wheels look hot on this toy.Now I need to do body work this summer. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif

75 Repu 05-06-2006 01:33 PM

those trucks have soft sheet metal.. so body work on them is not too bad.. but welding things on it requires patience.. since they can warp the panels easy...

rotaryl33 05-06-2006 08:17 PM

i also have a 1986 b2000 cab plus turboii i run 5lbs of boost its FAST. its now my daily driver i did it myself

everybody loves it.

Racer X 05-29-2006 08:59 PM

My dad is from Portugal.I plan on 4" drop in the front and a 3" in the back.

75 Repu 06-07-2006 06:18 PM

dude.. slam it.. i put djm lower control arms on my old b2600i and 4inch blocks in the back with toxic shocks.. she was pretty stable that way..

Racer X 06-07-2006 06:38 PM

I plan on 2" drop spindles up front combined with another 2" of drop by cranking down the torsion bars then out back I will use drop blocks. After Jeff20B and I can figure out whats up with my ignition.I drove it 3 weeks and its been sitting for 4 weeks now.

Racer X 08-16-2006 05:23 PM

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bling.gif Slammed 4.5" front and 3" in the rear
