Did america ever have the Rx5 or did you skip from Rx4 to Rx7? Rx5's aren't common and they are increasing in value because of that...but i'm just wondering...are they not mentioned because no one likes them or did you guys miss out? lol i probably sound so stupid, but could someone please tell me https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/wacko.gif

Honestly I always felt that here in the states we never got the RX-5. Since I've been a member of this forum however, I get the impression that at least in some states, the RX-5 was sold here briefly. I truly have never seen one. Hopefully, some other members might be able to offer more information. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.gif

It was called Cosmo in the states. CD23C '76 to '78. I call it the CD Cosmo.

I think I've seen one of those @ Tampa rotary get together 2-3 years ago.

Not a fan of that particular model... Kind of UGGH!

It is faster than a second gen non turbo RX-7. Once I get the engine broken in, I will mess with my Turbo RX-7 friends.

A/C works perfect, Power steering works and it has a disc brake rear end.

Best of all, it surely drives as smooth as a Cadillac. I am very impressed with that.....

I am in Virginia for those that want to check it out.

That's a nice setup. I hope to swap in a 5 speed and do an engine rebuild in mine after my current run of projects are finished.
